Sir Frederick Banting's Kayak - Photographs of Sir Frederick Banting's Kayak. The Kayak was a gift given to Banting from the Inuit peoples for the work he did researching their health conditions. The Kayak was left to Lady Henrietta Banting upon Sir Frederick's death. In October 1961, the Kayak was donated to the South Simcoe Pioneer Museum, where it has remained to this day.

Sir Frederick Banting's Machine Gun - The Machine Gun pictured was the property of Sir Frederick Banting. Legend has it that he confiscated this machine gun unarmed from three German soldiers while serving overseas during WWI. The machine gun was part of a war memorial in front of Alliston Union Public School and is now on permanent display at the South Simcoe Pioneer Museum.

Garnet Madill's Diorama of the Banting Homestead - This Photo Album, compiled by Garnet Madill, contains photos of his very unique Diorama of the Banting Homestead located in Alliston, Ontario.
