Description:  Photographs of Sir Frederick Banting's Kayak. The Kayak was a gift given to Banting from the Inuit peoples for the work he did researching their health conditions. The Kayak was left to Lady Henrietta Banting upon Sir Frederick's death. In October 1961, the Kayak was donated to the South Simcoe Pioneer Museum, where it has remained to this day. In most of these pictures the Kayak is shown hanging from the ceiling of The South Simcoe Pioneer Museum.
