History of the New Tecumseth Public Library
New Tecumseth Public Library (NTPL) is composed of three distinct branches, in the three unique communities that make up the Town of New Tecumseth. Amalgamated in 1991, the library has continued to thrive.

The New Tecumseth Public Library provides collections that meet the life-long educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the community.

Our Vision for the Future
Following a one town, one library motto, the New Tecumseth Public Library will continue to be integral to the intellectual and cultural life of the community. The library will promote personal enrichment and life-long learning; encourage literacy and the love of reading in all age groups; and foster cultural and educational programs and partnerships. The library will ensure quality service through positive human connections.
